Ms. Mimika Dobroshi, Director of the Erasmus+ Program in Kosovo, highlighted the immense benefits of the Erasmus+ Program for young people in the country. Erasmus+, an initiative of the European Union, supports education, training, youth, and sport across Europe. Despite Kosovo not being an EU member, it participates in Erasmus+ as a partner country, opening doors to a wide range of educational and mobility opportunities for its citizens.
Ms. Dobroshi emphasized how Erasmus+ has played a pivotal role in enhancing educational exchanges, mobility projects, and capacity-building initiatives in Kosovo. These programs primarily target students, educators, and young professionals, offering them opportunities to study abroad, take part in internships, and engage in youth exchanges. Through these experiences, participants gain valuable skills, broaden their horizons, and strengthen their employability, making them more competitive on the global job market.
The Erasmus+ Program has proven to be a significant tool in empowering the youth of Kosovo, fostering personal and professional development while strengthening international connections.
